When we began searching for a photographer in our area, we were looking for a decent photographer at a reasonable price. Also, we wanted to find someone with whom we would feel comfortable (we are a same-sex couple). When we found Val, we definitely got more than we expected! She is absolutely superb! Her photos are stunning and she has been a pleasure to work with thus far. She has been personable, friendly, and easy to get along with; but also, professional and polite. In addition, she has always been genuinely interested in “our story” and in taking photos that represent “us and our story”. We recently had our engagement photos taken and we have received countless compliments on our magnificent photos! Our wedding is coming up in about 5 months and I cannot wait to see those pictures, too. I am completely confident in Val’s ability to capture our special moments on that day!
