So You're EnGAYged, a LGBT wedding blog

As stated on our blogsite, “David and Ashley, of Story Photographers, are honored that you chose us to enter in to your story to document the love, the humor, the sincerity… even the pain and the sadness that is present.” David and I (Ashley) strive to tell people’s stories no matter where they are in life. We want to be available to people who would like their story documented… this includes but is not limited to shooting their engagement, wedding, family, births, deaths, celebrations, social service, etc.

We are purposeful about explaining on our blog, in several different places, that we ask people to judge us by how we tell these stories, not by whose stories we chose to tell. David and I believe in building authentic relationships with our clients, establishing trust. We try not to pose and direct too much during a shoot or on a wedding day, instead offering coaching when needed to keep a shoot feeling natural.

Again, we do not take this honor lightly and strive to not take our job for granted. David and I love what we do and the people we get to work with in telling their stories.
