So You're EnGAYged, a LGBT wedding blog

Love is a beautiful thing, and documenting love inspires me and is the subject matter of my life in the art of photography. My nature is that of a romantic. I am inspired by not only the love of the couple, but the love of family and friends. My techniques used are those of a wedding photojournalist, but beyond photojournalism, there is art. I believe that it is in the moments that are true that “art” happens. In every wedding I document, I search for those “true moments.” I believe all couples who love each other and want to share a lifetime of commitment should be able to be married. But whether it’s currently called a marriage, a civil union or a registered partnership in your state, it’s a beautiful wedding to me. I want to show the beauty and love of your day to be a history of your family…. Forever!

Awards: Marie holds a Master of Photography from Professional Photographers of America (PPA) which is the highest honor in the worldwide association of more than 22,000 members. She is a recipient of Kodak Gallery Award, the Fuji Masterpiece Award and holds an Accolade of Photographic Mastery with the Wedding and Portrait Photographers International (WPPI). Marie was also cited as a leading wedding photojournalist by the Wedding Photojournalist Association (WPJA). One of the most widely published wedding photographers in the US, she is a regular contributor to numerous top wedding publications such as The Knot and Brides Magazine.
