I was SO EXCITED when China said she could shoot my wedding! My partner and I met with other photographers – they all seemed talented and competent – but there’s just something special about China – I don’t know, it’s hard to describe, you almost have to meet her to understand. She just GETS it. She knows when to hang back – and then took the most remarkable, intimate photos of us getting ready, and we didn’t even know she was there – but she also knows when to take charge. As great as she was shooting the candids, she was fantastic at wrangling everyone for the group shots. These meant so much to us – but it’s hard in the heat of the moment to remember lists.
