My approach to photographing weddings is more on the photojournalistic side (I am a member of the WPJA – Wedding Photojournalists Association), but I do all the “formal” photos with the couple, wedding party and families. I never choreograph moments, but capture the day as it is passing, with an aim to tell the entire story of the couple’s big day. Many people tell me at the end of the night that they barely noticed me – I consider that a compliment!
