We needed a minister for our commitment ceremony and we researched all of the available officiants in and around the Raleigh area. It felt like we spent two days on-line reading all of the bios and reviews and we just kept going back to Rev. Lodge and her website, it was like something was pulling us to her!!! We contacted her and we were thrilled that she was available for us even though we were about a half an hour outside of her area. I can honestly say that she was the perfect pick for us!!! We e-mailed back and forth with her a few times and talked to her on the phone at length and she truly felt like an old friend to us. She was so compassionate and caring to get a feel for us as a couple before she officiated our ceremony. We wrote our own vows and a poem and she incorporated them into her written ceremony for us. When we finally met her she did feel like an old friend. Our dog Barkley was very comfortable around her and he is a very good judge of character !!!
