The Catherine Ward House Inn is a romantic 9 room bed and breakfast located on a quiet street in the Victorian District of Savannah, Georgia. Located only a half a block from magnificent Forsyth Park, with Historic District shopping, restaurants, museums, and over 250 years of history all located within a few minutes stroll of our front doors.
The perfect romantic setting for all of your celebrations — proposals, engagements, weddings, honeymoons, anniversaries, or “just because.” Because of the size of our property, we are unable to host ceremonies or receptions — but are the perfect place to get ready for an event or retire to after a big day.
We offer a host of unique ideas and recommendations and stand ready to make your stay in Savannah memorable.

The House was built in the late 1800′s and it still stands proudly with all of its charm and glory. The decor is impeccable and the people there make you feel like you are really at home. We stayed in Elizabeth’s room and loved it… Located in the heart of Savannah, you can walk anywhere in two to fifteen minutes downtown Savannah… Southern hospitality is what the area is proud of and you are sure to see it not only from the staff, but the guests there too. Everyone was real friendly on the front porch enjoying wine as the sun went down.- Richard & BJ
We have found our way back to reality and wanted to take a moment to thank you for a wonderful experience. From the first email contact you both have been gracious, resourceful, and have provided the most outstanding ‘time away ‘from the world. We so enjoyed our room, the fireplace and Jacuzzi, all the information you provided and of course the wonderful breakfast each day… After 5 plus hours in the car- you greeted us at the door and never stopped being available for any question or need. En route you were kind enough to give us a call and advise us as to what to do with luggage as it was not needed to unload at the front door. These little efforts make a great difference when traveling and are much appreciated. It was these ‘touches’ if you will that make the experience outstanding in our memories.- Susan & Larrianne
