Our commitment ceremony was a magically and beautiful day framed by our friends and family and by the supportive catering services of Main Event… That day started as a complicated one: our contracted venue raised its ugly homophobic head the morning of our ceremony and cancelled our contract (since the Catholic Church does not approve of gay marriage and the venue is owned by it). Thanks to the support of friends/family we managed to change our venue and communicate this news to our guests. Main Event’s team jumped into action and with great flexibility took charge of providing additional furniture, extra wine and creating a most beautiful setting. In addition, the food was spectacular, with praises from all. Our commitment ceremony was so perfect that most guests only found out about our challenges after the event was over. -Margarita & Jean
