Mayflower Inn Washington Depot, Connecticut: Real Gay Wedding

Rita and Jess are having their actual wedding with friends and family at the end of September. When they initially hired me to photograph their wedding, I didn’t even know they were going up to CT to do a Civil Ceremony. But their friends treated them to a few days at the Mayflower Inn in Washington Depot CT and they knew it was the perfect place for a Civil Ceremony.

We ended up going into the Mayflower Inn’s Shakespeare garden and they decided to get married right there!

The gorgeous setting and the intense emotions made a little cocoon of excitement and ‘oh my God, we are legally married!’

After some champagne and hugs, we went off to do some portraits around the grounds. Wedding Putt Putt anyone?

Tomorrow I’ll show you the pictures we got when we snuck into the Mayflower Inn Salon.

Their wedding looks so beautiful and stress free. I love mini-golf, but now I might be inspired to build a course for my wedding. How fun would that be?

I can’t tell you how much we were laughing playing putt-putt. I have pictures of Jess literally almost in tears laughing so hard. We just joked around and something about a mini golf club inspires a stress free and fun time.
What about going to a mini golf course with guest already in VT the day before? I’m sure there would be one around your venue. Dress up and go for it…then you can have your ferris wheel and mini golf.
