Dear Zappos.com,
You have always been my go to website for any type of shoes, but when it comes to shopping for my wedding shoes – you have completely overwhelmed me. I had to cheat on you.
Your state of the art shoe technology is impressive – I appreciate the multiple angles I can view your shoes from and I love reading customer reviews, but why, oh why, did you have to start posting the mini-shoe videos? You have sucked hours out of my life! Don’t you realize that I have no power when it comes to pretty girls talking about shoes and then prancing around in them?
You know that I have a shoe fetish and you taunt me so!
This week and go into a real shoe store and I tried on some wedding heels instead of ordering from you. I would have ordered about 10-20 pairs and then tried them on with my dress in the privacy of my own home. Then I’d decide which pair I want and send the rest of them back to you because I love taking advantage of your 365 day return policy.
The heels I ended up with for my big day are fantastic. The girl at the boutique I bought them at told me that I looked like Cinderella sliding on her glass slipper. Sadly, you could not provide me with the same amount of immediate gratification. Of course, she probably works on commission, but whatever.
I will come back to you when I need another pair of running shoes or some cute boots for the fall, but just know that your extensive selection and multiple shoe viewing opportunities have simply overwhelmed me.

Those are great. Also, I wore heels and my wife wore flats for our wedding, which left me a good 6 inches taller than her. It worked out fine for us. The only downside is that in some of the pictures I’m looking down at her, and it sort of looks like my eyes are closed. Oh well. I loved my shoes and she loved hers, so it worked!
Oh, wow, I’ll have to make sure I have some cute flats for a bunch of the photos. Don’t want it to look like my eyes are closed – thanks for the hint!!
Super cute! I’ve gone through three pairs of shoes from zappos for potential wedding shoes and have a serious finalist. SO ADDICTING.
