We were so so very lucky to have two extremely talented photographers with us during our wedding festivities. The photos on this blog post are from Tanja Nixx. She has tattooed both Nat and I and wants to get into shooting weddings. You can’t just say, “I want to be a wedding photographer” and it immediately happen – you have to build up your portfolio, so I invited her to hang out at our wedding and shoot to her heart’s content. I love the images that she shot and considering it was only her second wedding ever – she did a fantastic job. I am posting the images in the order that they were shot. This post should give you some background into how the wedding photographer thinks – details, people getting ready, interesting shots of people waiting around, running from one room and back, etc…. Tanja is an incredible tattoo artist – a majority of my sleeve was done by her and she didn’t even look at me like I was crazy when I asked for a gigantic rainbow glue gun tattoo! She works at Lyle Tuttle Tattoo Shop in SF and I recommend her so so much!

Tanja shot my shoes in a different location than Diana did.

Vintage brooch bouquet. My maid of honor put on the final touches with the ribbon.

Eyelashes!

My sister helping our mom put on some mascara.

Tuxedo detail.

Hot red cons!

Coy smile from Nat to Mags.

Maggie wore this really fun sparkly red flower ring that I considered stealing for a hot second.

Almost fully dressed.

One of my favorite shots of Nat getting dressed.

Another pic of the vintage pins.

She hurried back to the room where we were getting ready and snapped this great shot of my mom.

Fuzzy white edging - dreamy!

Great pic of my bracelets - made by my maid of honor.

Evy ready to go!

Getting excited!

Another adorable Evy peeking shot.
