I’m in awe of the amazing setting that Chick Click, one of our pro-gay vendors, found and used to photograph Michael and Chetty. Enjoy!
Well, every year on April 29th we have celebrated our anniversaries by always going out of town….so this year on April 29th 2010 while in West Hollywood we went to a restaurant called TKE. Chetty told me to dress up because it’s a 5 star restaurant. When we arrived I noticed that there was nobody else in the restaurant. Thiinking it was just THAT dead that night we proceeded to our table which was the only table in the middle of the restaurant that had a ridiculous amount of gorgeous orange roses all over the table.
Chetty had rented out the entire place for our anniversary dinner!!! Eek! Already in shock that he went all out for this anniversary, I completely ignored the box wrapped in silver ribbon sitting at the table…when I finally noticed it he told me that I couldn’t open it until after dinner. So of course I was wondering the WHOLE time if it was a RING or a set of cufflinks? He finally let me open it……he gave it to me smiling because I’m always so impatient…..I opened the box and all that was inside was a piece of paper that said “look up”. I was so interested in the box that I had completely ignored what was going on around me. Our waiter pulled off the top of a silver platter to show a ring and a little sign that said “Will you marry me?”. I said no. No no, just kidding, I said YES of course! The rest is history (or will be after July 29th!).
It’s horrible and cliché, we know…but we met in the VIP area of a bar!

So sweet. Congratulations!
