Red converse purchased on Zappos.com

Nat got ready in the room down the hall from me with her best people – Maggie & David. They all rented tuxedos from Men’s Warehouse and I’m happy to report that it all ended well with that company. They were super sweet to us and the experience we had when we originally rented Nat’s tux was an isolated incident. I highly recommend working with them. They decided to wear red converse and their boutineers were vintage tulip pins that Nat’s friend, Maggie, had procured for us. I wasn’t sure how it would end up looking, but I was very happy in the end. I can’t report what went down in their room because I wasn’t there, but I know that they had fun and spent some quiet moments together reflecting on what we were about to do.

Vintage pins courtesy of Maggie. She was so great for getting these for us!

These two went to college together. I adore their friendship - so full love love and laughter.

Nat looked fantastic in the tux!

Cufflinks were a new adventure for Nat.

Dave helps straighten her bow tie.

Hugs before she heads downstairs to meet me!
