We’re looking for a rockstar intern who’s eager to take initiative and improve our wedding vendor listings over the course of six months. This internship would be perfect for someone looking to showcase their skills at creating and exceeding goals, creating a great user experience, and analyzing data. The intern would be responsible for communication with vendors, developing a plan to improve our listings and application process, and helping our readers get the most out of our listings.
Requirements:
- must have awesome communication skills (there will be a lot of emailing the SYE team and wedding vendors)
ability to work independently (we trust you to take initiative and do your work on time) - eager to support the LGBT community
- understands website metrics (visitor interaction, referring sources, how to improve conversions) – knowledge of Google Analytics a plus!
- knowledge of what heteronormative language is and how to make it more inclusive
- ability to dedicate 10 hours a week to the internship
