Dear Fabulous Community of So You’re EnGAYged;

After months of sharing my wedding planning story with you, the time has come for me to say farewell. I have reached the end of my wedding planning process and recaps, all of which I hope you have enjoyed! I also hope that along the way some of my advice and experiences have helped you in your wedding planning process.

Planning a wedding is an amazingly rewarding experience full of ups and downs, surprises, and even, (at times) frustration. I pray that my posts have helped you to see all of those things, to be excited for them, and for some of the less-than-wonderful challenges, perhaps even helped  you to prepare for them. I hope that some of my wedding details (which were by far my favorite part of my special day) give you ideas or inspiration for your own weddings.

To me, SYE is all about love. I am so proud to have been given the opportunity to share my love story with all of you. I have enjoyed this process so very much and look forward to reading posts by other  SYE bloggers as they unveil recipes for their special days! There are not a lot of men out there in the blogosphere writing about wedding planning, gay or straight. I created my own wedding blog, The Gay Wedding Experience for that very reason. I am happy to have also been one of the few male voices on this site as well!

I want to thank each and every one of you for your comments, words of wisdom, advice and acceptance – all of which heavily contributed to the success of my own Mexico wedding and civil ceremony last year! You have no idea how thankful I am and will forever be.

To my husband, Tom: Thanks for your unending support and love. You are my everything!

Love,
Brian

    your posts helped up a stop to all the ‘wedding confusion’ I was experiencing and help me nail down the perfect wedding location – Puerto Vallarta! I’m now enjoying the wedding planning process again. I know I’ll see you a lot ‘virtually’ over the next year – referring back to your posts for advice.
