My thing is shoes. I love shoes almost as much as I love Em. I have 6 pairs of Converse alone ranging in color and style. I also various other shoes including Roos, Pumas, Adidas, and Nikes ranging in colors from green/yellow/black/gray, orange/red/white, red/blue/gray/yellow/white, lavender/blue/yellow, and various solid colors such as navy blue, Kelly green, and black. I essentially purchase clothes to match my shoes. So why wouldn’t I want to create my wedding theme based on my shoes too?
Being that Chuck Taylors started my shoe obsession, it seems only natural that we would design our wedding based upon a pair of custom designed Chuck Taylors. We decided on our colors and went from there. We chose sky blue, gray/silver, black, and white. When looking for cake designs, we found a blue cake with white cherry blossoms, so we completed our theme with a cherry blossom accent.
We both have two people in our wedding party, and each party has one person in a dress and one in a suit. The suits and I will be wearing our custom-made Chucks. My tie will be silver with blue cherry blossoms and theirs will be blue with gray cherry blossoms. The dresses will be silver, possibly with sky blue shoes and a sky blue ribbon involved.

We have since found other items for the wedding to fit into our theme including blue Lego cuff links that my shoes perfectly. We have decided on table decorations that are clear vases with blue sand and cherry blossom sticks.
