I know I shouldn’t even be looking at shoes until I have found my dress, but I accidently fell in love with Louboutin’s Glitter Slingbacks.
I have been lusting after them for months. Whenever I am in Friendship Heights, I stop in Neiman Marcus to visit them.
There are three obvious problems with these shoes.
1. They are $775, bigger than my dress budget
2. J is 3 inches shorter than me and doesn’t want a large height discrepency between us in photos. If I wore 4″ heels, I would be towering over her.
3. The ceremony and reception will be in the grass and I don’t want to be sinking.
So I will continue to visit them and maybe buy a cheap pair of slingbacks from Target and glue glitter on them.

Pleaser (a company that makes really sturdy and non-slip pole performer shoes) has a ton of gorgeous silver glittery shoes! Two of my faves:

Keep an eye out on Zappos for new Pleaser shipments, they’re always cheap and ship quickly!

These are also pretty similar, and the price is right if you were to wear them to a rehearsal dinner or other indoor event. :)
Ha! I just told Ginger last week that this Louboutin guy has to stop making beautiful lime green shoes that I can’t have for my wedding (heels and price tag are way too high). Hopefully, you can find a more practical pair of sparkly wedding shoes. I like Jen’s suggestion. The hearts on the soles of the shoes are adorable!
I had exactly the same problem. I was so lusting after a pair of Louboutins for the wedding. The kind of lusting where I ebay shopped for them every day. But, turns out their just as expensive on ebay. Oh well. Such is life.
Thank you for all your suggestions and for letting me know I am not the only one with crazy expensive shoe desires. The pleaser shoes are really pretty but I think I would totally break an ankle ( which preversly makes me want them more).
