One of my favorite things about New York City is the street vendors! In a one hour lunch I got some great halal food and also scored ties for our entire wedding party for just 5 dollars each!! They were the perfect color of blue and match the girl’s sashes perfectly. We wanted to silkscreen them with the damask pattern that has become our wedding theme. So we dusted off the Yudu and got to work!

Step 1: Follow instructions to burn a screen of your design

Step 2: Position the screen on the Yudu

Step 3: Set up registration marks to position each tie under the design

Step 4: Prepare your ink by mixing it with a little water

Step 5: Smear a little ink at the bottom of the design

Step 6: Using a squeegee spread ink over the design

Step 7: Once the screen is loaded with ink squeegee it onto the tie

Step 8: Voila!

Step 9: Repeat!

Wow, these look great! It never even occurred to me that one can customize their own ties. How neat!
With silkscreening you can customize almost anything!!
I had wanted to get a Yudu. They make everything look so easy and the screen size is so much bigger than a gocco screen. Your ties came out great.
Nic and I really love the yudu… they really do make it so easy! Nic made herself a shirt for the series finale of lost! LOL.
