In the process of creating my Save the Dates, I made many mistakes. Here is my list of things not to do.

1. If you are using an online postcard printing website, use their template before you begin designing your picture
2. If you are going to print the postcards yourself, make sure the paper isn’t too thick for your printer
3. I used Avery 8386 and I am not sure if it is my printer or the additional perforations that caused increased flexibility, but I had a lot of difficulty printing them.
4. Measure everything a lot, the envelopes ended up being about the same size as the postcards after all the trimming
5. Don’t place a gocco design too close to the edge of the screen because it will get cut off
7. Make sure the carnival tickets are as flat as possible so that they get inked evenly
8. You can reburn a screen, but make sure there is no ink above the new design

I have a new lesson learned. Never put a return address on a postcard, it confuses you the post office and you will get 1/3 of them back.
