So Lara and I were excited about last weekend because we were invited to attend the B List conference. What does that even mean? Basically a bunch of top wedding bloggers got together, talked, bounced ideas of each other and learned a lot. But we also enjoyed ourselves on Friday night at the opening reception at the Torpedo Factory in Alexandria VA.
When we walked in, it honestly looked like a giant wedding was going to take place. I was trying to take in the amazingness of it all. Chalkboard flower holders with arrangements by Holly Chapple Flowers, decked out lighting by John Farr, blinged out tables/chairs by DC Rental and amazing food by Design Cuisine. I do have to take a minute out to sing the praises of Design Cuisine. Since I have celiac disease, I’m on a gluten free diet which can make going to parties less fun because I starve while everyone chomps away at yummies. But Design Cuisine made a special plate of food for me and I enjoyed every single bite. It was sooo yummy. So big big kuddos to Design Cuisine for not only making sure I could have something to eat but making it really tasty. Images all by Carlos Andres Varela and Shane Carpenter for Elan Artists
Of course, with this much fabulousness going on, there was a wedding planner behind it all. Ritzy Bee events made sure everything looked perfect and went smoothly- not an easy task with all that going on!
That’s me and Lara on the left. On the right is Maddy from Inspired Bride, Lara, Me, Jackie from Merci New York and someone I don’t know!
The amazing bloggers behind all this: Anne Chertoff from Aisle Dash and Vane Broussard from Brooklyn Bride.
And pop rocks! OMG, I was eating these all night. I need to find a source to order them online. Also, SmileBooth provided us with an awesome photobooth. I honestly never got too excited about photobooths but holy crap, I could not get over how fun that booth was. I really want one just sitting in my house to play with randomly.

LOL! oh Kelly – I love the “and someone I don’t know!” Totally made me giggle. I was going to use that pic on my roundup two and I was like, wait, shoot, who WAS that guy?
Didn’t he just jump into our picture randomly? I think he was just walking by! :D
