As promised, the sharing of the Save the Date and photo collage!
(Can you tell I’m excited about them?)

Images by savethedate and Wyatt Olson Photography, respectively.
The Save the Date design process with Tiffany of Etsy’s savethedate was smooth and casual. She had designed for same-sex ceremonies before and Alex and I loved her designs. Plus, she was eco-friendly: her slogan is “Save the Date * Save the Trees” AND she is part of an group called Eco Etsy, which you can find by searching “teamecoetsy.”
The photo collage we made ourselves (with PictureCollageMakerFree) using our favorite engagement photos from our session with the wonderful Wyatt Olson Photography. Putting it together was Alex’s job for the week, but I helped her put the finishing touches on it (I couldn’t resist!). We wanted to share our photos with our friends and family, but also have a way for them to have access to our wedding site on MyWedding.Com. (Where I could happily register as a partner, and not a groom! But, does anyone know who owns them?)
With our UK wedding roughly 6 months away, our goal is to email these out to all of our guests by the end of the month–saving paper, postage and fossil fuels! The only exception is our grandmas, who will be getting their initial invites via their mailboxes–some are computer saavy, and some just prefer plain ol’ post.

Very unique!
oh cute cute cute! I love it!
I am also doing a postcard Save the Date, but mine will be paper. I want to be green, but I love the feel and look of vellum too much. I love the way your collage came out.
