*By Roxy* Even though George and I won’t be the kind of brides with two white dresses, we loved the idea of coordinating in some way. We weren’t sure how, until we saw this totally cute couple on Rock-n-Roll Bride:

We loved their look so much that we decided to steal it.
First of all, the shoe/tie coordination was perfect for us, because we had been trying to figure out how to match up our suit and dress wearing attendants, and had settled on orange shoes and orange ties. And second, since we’re doing lots of saturated pinks, oranges, and yellows in the flowers, I thought it would be fun if we claimed yellow for ourselves.
Since George is about the size of a 13-year-old boy, she scored with this tie from Brooks Brothers kids:

And thus began my odyssey of finding the perfect yellow shoes. Harder than you’d think, considering that yellow doesn’t seem to be a very popular color this year. And since our wedding is almost all on grass, I couldn’t get a spiked heel. Why do so many shoe-designers seem to assume that all yellow-shoe wearing ladies want so much towering height? After returning four pairs, I finally settled on these from Yoox:

More than I wanted to spend, but they’re cute, they’re comfy, they’re the right color, and most importantly, I won’t sink into the lawn!

Whoa I was on a hunt for yellow shoes for a while there too, and I did not see those! I love them!
I love those shoes! You both are going to look so great!
